The word RETREAT is defined as “to pull back and go within.”
Join us for 7 nights in the lush local island of Maafushi in the Maldives where our primary focus will be to relax and take an inner journey back to ourselves.
In Maafushi we will begin our days with early morning meditation and yoga, followed by a delicious breakfast buffet meant to awaken all of your senses. We will spend the day relaxing by the pool, enjoying the snorkeling, napping, reading, walking, and enjoying life. Our evenings will consist of a second yoga practice where we can integrate what we have been learning and practicing.
We will have three excursions off of the island with lunch included. One will be a snorkeling tour, one will be a nurse shark tour where you will have the opportunity to swim with nurse sharks, or watch from the comfort of the boat, and lastly one excursion will be to a 5 star resort island where you will be able to enjoy all of the amenities, including a full buffet lunch with alcoholic drinks included.
You will be welcomed to participate as much or as little as you like keeping in mind that the retreat is a time meant for you to honor your needs and wants. Your retreat will offer you the opportunity to take control over your health and well-being while being fully immersed in nature with like minded individuals.
Styles of Yoga taught: Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, and Yin with mini workshops built in to compliment and enhance your asana practice.

All cancellations must be made in writing via e-mail to Anayra Calderon and Maureen Taylor and are subject to per person penalties as follows: All deposits are nonrefundable and full retreat balance is due 45 days prior to retreat start date or you will be imposed a penalty of $250. Cancellations made 90+ days in advance of retreat start date minus the deposit are refundable. Cancellations 45-89 days in advance of the retreat start date are 75% refundable minus the deposit. Cancellations less than 45 days in advance of retreat start date are nonrefundable. No shows or early leaves are nonrefundable. Bookings are nontransferable, extreme circumstances may be considered for a transfer but need to be submitted in writing for approval and subject to hotel policy. Anayra Calderon and Maureen Taylor strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for your trip.
The Hard Rock extension must be paid in full 90 days prior to arrival.

Anayra Calderon and Maureen Taylor are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all participants, however participants must assume the risk inherent in travel including those from weather, wildlife, or other force majeure. The participant confirms that he/she has no physical conditions or medical precautions that would adversely affect his/her ability to take part in the yoga program or other physical activities offered. In the event that a pre-existing medical condition or medical condition arises, an authorized medical doctor's note is required for refunds less the deposit for each trip. The participant fully understands that his/her participation in the yoga program or other activities could be injurious to his/her health. The participant voluntarily assumes all risk related to such activities and releases Anayra Calderon and Maureen Taylor from liability for accident, personal injury, illness, emotional damage, incurred travel expenses, or property damage he/she may incur as a result of his/her traveling and staying at this retreat.

Hatha-trained with alignment-based focus with Yin training incorporating Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. Maureen is a dedicated and
passionate individual who will bring the same passion to each and every one of
her classes. Maureen incorporates the physical and spiritual aspects of this beautiful calming practice. She encourages her students to blossom by integrating the graceful flow of Vinyasa yoga with mindfulness to the connection between the body, mind and breath. Her classes will leave you feeling grounded and balanced while having a great workout. As a lover of music, her playlists are carefully curated to stimulate the mind while the asana practice works with the physical body. Maureen creates an authentic space with stimulating asana for all levels of practitioners.
